My journey into the world of photography began when I first picked up a camera as a teenager. This newfound hobby quickly evolved into a burning passion, fuelled by the compelling power of images to express emotions, tell stories, and encapsulate cherished memories. Over the years, I’ve meticulously refined my skills and artistic vision, transforming my love for photography into a fulfilling passion.
A turning point in my journey was the discovery of the incredible, often overlooked microcosms residing just beneath the veneer of everyday life. I’ve since dedicated my career to capturing and sharing these fascinating spectacles through my unique photographic approach.
Everything changed when I enrolled in a photography course at the Warsaw School of Film at the age of twenty-five. This experience allowed me to perceive photography under a different light, unveiling its vast artistic potential and solidifying my commitment to exploring this passion further.
The Work Today
Today, I primarily employ my distinctive macro-expressionist style, using a digital camera to produce mid to large format prints. I strive to transcend beyond realism and the inherent documentative qualities of a camera. My quest lies in capturing visions that extend beyond the confines of reality.
By examining the world through its minutest details and textures, I seek to present an array of possibilities, painting an intriguing panorama of sceneries and shapes within my compositions.
